Welcome to American Bully Breed

The American Bully is a new modern-day breed of dogs that was developed as a companion and show conformation dog.

Size

Medium to Large build with a medium to low energy drive. Extremely musculature and strong, removing any aggression. The American Bullies come is 5 sizes, they are known as The XL Bully, Standard Bully, Classic Bully, Pocket Bully and anything shorter than the Pocket Bully size are known as Micro Bully or Miniature Bully. Size is determined by their adult height of the Bully dog at the withers (shoulders).

Class

  • XL Bully are 20 inches and above.
  • Standard Bully male is between 17 inches to 20 inches, females 16 inches to 19 inches.
  • Classic Bully height is the same as the standard class with a slimmer build.
  • Pocket Bully male is between 14 inches to 17 inches, females 13 inches to 16 inches.
  • Micro Bully & Miniature Bully are under 14 inches.

Style

There’s two types of style in the Bully breed. The standard look known as the American Bully.

The Exotic Bully look stem from its foundation of the original American Bully with more influence characteristic of their counterpart, the English Bulldog breed.

Appearance

The American Bully and Exotic Bully are medium-sized, short-coated dog. The breed is recognised for its broad large head, muscular thick frame, short muzzle, large broad muscular shoulders, thick strong rear and intimidating look. They come in many colour coats such as chocolate, lilac, blue, fawn in solid color coat and also comes in patten of tri tan point, brindle, pied and merle.

Temperament

Selectively bred for their friendly and affectionate nature the American Bully is a companion breed, exhibiting confidence, a zest for life, along with an exuberant willingness to please and bond with their family, making them excellent companions for families and individuals alike.

History

Established in the early 1990s, the American Bully breed was developed as the ultimate family companion through selective breeding. Combining the desired characteristics of the American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Staffordshire Bullterrier and later introducing other Bull breed type such as the Bulldog breed.
